OUR DECADE REVOLUTION

YMF International Thai Co., Ltd. was established in 1991  as a garment manufacturer through a business collaboration with Y.M. Fashion, a reputable Japanese company. With internationally recognized production standards and a strong foundation of experience, the company has steadily evolved — growing from a trusted manufacturer into a leading Thai-based designer, producer, and retailer with comprehensive capabilities in the fashion industry. 
Y.M.F. International Co., Ltd. – Company Timeline
1991 – 2000
The Beginning
  • Y.M.F. International Co., Ltd. was officially founded on February 7, 1991, in partnership with Y.M. Fashion, a company based in Japan.
  • Operations began with the production of garments under the YaccoMaricard brand, managed within an industrial factory employing 150 staff.
  • The process included the sourcing of high-quality fabrics, in-house tailoring, and exporting the finished garments to Japan for dyeing and final distribution.
  • A sample room department was established through collaboration with the Japanese partner, with a core focus on quality and craftsmanship in product development.
2001 – 2010
Expansion into Fashion Retail
  • A new factory with a team of 50 employees was opened in Khok Makham Village, Prakhon Chai District, Buriram Province.
  • A Garment Dyeing Facility was constructed and launched in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, capable of dyeing both samples and finished goods, with a monthly capacity of 1,500 pieces.
  • The sample room was upgraded to a full-fledged R&D department to enhance product innovation and refinement.
  • Fabric sourcing was expanded to include materials from Japan, India, and China.
  • Export operations extended to the United Kingdom under the YaccoMaricard brand.
  • The company officially entered the fashion retail sector in Thailand by obtaining distribution rights for YaccoMaricard.
  • The first flagship store was opened in Langsuan.
  • Began consignment partnerships with leading department stores under The Mall Group and Central Group.
  • Launched the proprietary brand Shaka, under the exclusive license of Y.M.F., with its first standalone shop also located in Langsuan.
2011 – 2020
Strengthening Infrastructure & Growth
  • A new, larger-scale 1,000-square-meter factory was established in Buriram Province in 2018, employing 120 staff members.
  • Modernized operations at the Nonthaburi factory with improved production efficiency, the adoption of auto-cutting machines, and a streamlined logistics system overseeing raw material imports and finished goods inventory for both export and domestic markets.
  • Expanded dyeing capacity and upgraded the wastewater treatment system to handle increased volume and maintain environmental standards.
  • Relocated the YaccoMaricard flagship store to Sukhumvit 23, and opened additional flagship locations at CentralWorld and The 19th @ Chidlom.
  • Increased retail presence to 10 key department stores nationwide.
  • Expanded Shaka brand presence with new shops at Siam Center and ICONSIAM.
2021 – Present
Sustainability & Digital Transformation
  • Launched “ZANPU”, a sustainable fashion brand created from upcycled fabric scraps generated in Y.M.F.’s production facilities. Each piece is designed and sewn in-house, maintaining the same high production standards.
  • Introduced Shakafe at both the Nonthaburi factory and Sukhumvit 23, offering customers and employees a space to relax while enjoying the latest collections.
  • Developed and launched official websites for YaccoMaricard, Shaka, and ZANPU, alongside a full-fledged e-commerce platform.
  • Expanded digital retail channels by partnering with major marketplace platforms such as Lazada, Central Online, and Shopee.
