Save The Ocean
The “Save The Ocean” activity was held on July 24, where our executives and employee representatives visited the Sea Turtle Conservation Center of the Royal Thai Navy. They delivered essential supplies for caring for the turtles, toured the facility, and participated in releasing turtles that had recovered and baby turtles back into the sea
This activity was driven by the commitment of Y.M.F. International Thai Co., Ltd. to be a part of marine environmental conservation, particularly in helping sea turtles. Sea turtles are an endangered species and play a crucial role in the marine ecosystem.
This event began with a fundraising project involving the sale of “Hiragana” t-shirts and bags. Part of the proceeds came from our customers, and the other part was a contribution from the company. We used the income to purchase necessary equipment and supplies for turtle care, which were then directly delivered to the Sea Turtle Conservation Center of the Royal Thai Navy.
Y.M.F. International Thai Co., Ltd. places great importance on environmental conservation, especially marine environments and animals like sea turtles, because we believe that “business” and “the “environment” can go hand in hand sustainably. The ocean is a vast source of natural resources that sustains the lives of both humans and animals. Therefore, conserving marine animals like sea turtles is not just an issue for nature but a shared responsibility for all sectors, including the private sector like Y.M.F. We want to be a small force that helps create change and raises environmental awareness among our employees, customers, and society.
This activity reflects one of our core values: “Responsible Growth.” This means doing business that doesn’t just focus on profit but also grows alongside the sustainability of society and the environment.
